The landscape
Planat sits at the edge of San Cassiano, among meadows and woods, with the Dolomites all around. Lavarella and Conturines are part of the landscape, together with the larches and the pastures.
03Piz Sorega
Piz Sorega
The lifts are a 2-minute walk from Planat; the way back is uphill. From here you set off for the Alta Badia slopes: the area is part of Dolomiti Superski and of the Sellaronda circuit.
04Seasons
Winter and summer
In winter you set off for the slopes. In summer, for the trails and the bike and e-bike routes towards Pralongià, Fanes, Lagazuoi and Armentarola.
The centre of San Cassiano is a walk of about ten minutes. From late October until the winter season begins the village is quiet and many restaurants, shops and lifts are closed.
