This page describes the cookies and equivalent technologies actually used by planat.it, based on a technical audit of the site.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site may store on a device. Similar technologies can include browser local storage or technical identifiers needed for operation.

02What Planat uses

Planat uses, only after consent, Google Analytics 4 as the only site measurement tool. There is no Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager or advertising tool.

Site fonts (Instrument Serif and Instrument Sans) are loaded through next/font and served from the site origin after build; there are no runtime requests to Google Fonts during browsing.

Hosting (Vercel) may use strictly technical mechanisms to deliver and protect the site.

03Technical technologies

  • Temporary browser state used by the contact form during the session only (form state), without persistent tracking identifiers
  • First-party local storage used only to remember your Google Analytics 4 choice (granted / denied, version, date), with no identity data
  • Any strictly necessary technical cookies or mechanisms of the hosting infrastructure for delivery and security

These technologies, when present, are technical and not for profiling.

04Measurement

Google Analytics 4 (category: analytics / site measurement; provider: Google) starts only after consent. Google may then set cookies such as _ga, _ga_* and _gid to recognise later visits and measure pages. Measurement ID: G-X0WTDZGBN5. The main _ga cookie may persist for up to 2 years, according to Google’s default; this site does not set a custom lifetime. 05External services

BOOK opens the external Lodgify booking site. Instagram opens Planat’s external profile. Neither service is embedded in the page: their cookie and privacy practices apply only after you leave planat.it.

The map on the Contact page is an internal stylised drawing: it does not use Google Maps or third-party iframes.

06Consent

On the first visit Google Analytics 4 is inactive. A notice at the bottom asks whether to accept or continue without measurement. No choice is pre-selected; scrolling or simply browsing is not consent.

You may change or withdraw the choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future loading of Google Analytics 4 and the site removes, as far as possible, first-party analytics cookies already set (_ga, _ga_*, _gid).

07Browser controls

You can still manage or delete cookies from your browser settings.
